I feel much better about things at the moment. I was able to get the waistband and zipper onto the Gaga skirt last night with no issues, and it went onto the cage just fine and I started stitching it in place. I tried it on with the corset and it looks fine (though not so happy with the shape of the corset, might remake it one day if I want to wear this again.)
I also got my Ms Marvel boots sewn onto their new tights.
Tonight I want to finish off the skirt and also finish the bodysuit. Then I can start doing the sequins and stones and things. A new list:

figure out wig
finish off skirt
put feet and collar on the bodysuit
sequin bodysuit
glue hoops together, figure out attachment (i have a good idea of how to do it)
finish shoes
